The BackJack™ Flex back bracing system is effective for the treatment of a variety of causes of lumbar pain. The BackJack uses a 12-point cinching mechanism to make it easy to provide high-level compression, even for people with limited hand or arm strength. As you engage the bilateral cinching mechanism, you pull the flexible back panel into your lumbar spine, supporting stressed spinal discs, ligaments, and muscles. The BackJack’s circumferential compression also increases intra-cavitary pressure which is an important part of spinal stability.

The BackJack™ Flex's bilateral cinching design means that engaging the cinching mechanism pulls
the lumbar panel into the spine, stabilizing the area and providing therapeutic pressure. The design
also allows the wearer to adjust the panel from side-to-side to focus the pressure and heat/cold over
the area of greatest pain.

HOT/COLD THERAPY
Heat and cold therapy have long been recognized as effective treatments for pain. The blue gel pads included with the Standard Version of the BackJack Flex™ can be heated in the microwave or cooled in the freezer, then easily attached directly to the back panel to soothe pack pain. The contouring Flex Lumbar Panel makes it easy to apply heat or cold directly to the area that hurts.
