The Vector Lumbar Support provides targeted, vectored compression through a dual pulley cinching system. When you pull the handles, the cinching system pulls the lumbar panel forward into your spine, providing needed support and instantly reducing pain. The lumbar panel can be adjusted left or right with the pulley handles for customized, targeted compression. The Vector's lumbar panel also includes a pocket for a hot/cold therapeutic gel pad. The gel pad (included), can be placed in the microwave for soothing heat, or in the freezer for pain-relieving cold. The Vector is designed to be lightweight and low-profile so it can be worn discreetly under your clothes.

This is a high-quality, very helpful product, so I am reviewing it with 5 stars. However, I would suggest that women who plan to use it for lower back pain order one size up from what the sizing chart recommends, because it does not take into account womens' wider hips. I have a 27" inch waist, so I ordered the small, as referenced. But because I have L5 spondylolisthesis, I wear the Vector slightly lower than my waist. I can still get an inch or two of velcro overlap, but it rides up sometimes, and it can pop off if I put too much pressure on it from flexing. Some pants add too much bulk for me to wear this over them. But if you ordered a size up (M), there is such a generous amount of velcro altogether that it seems to me that you would still be able to make it quite small!

Amazing Brace, Incredible Support!

This back brace is amazing!!! I pulled all my lower back muscles picking up my 4 year old daughter and the next morning I got instant relief with this brace! It instantly took the pressure odd my Lower back and allowed me to go about my day with little to no discomfort. I believe it improved my healing time too!

Huge Help

My back has been killing me for the last week or so and this brace has made a huge difference. I've been able to keep working and get around much more easily with it on. My pain is off to the right side a little, so it's nice to be able to position the back panel over that spot and focus the compression right where I need it. It's pretty comfortable, and the gel pad is a nice extra.
