I have battled over probation and plantar fasciitis for years. Two days after the podiatrist put me in the TriLok, I walked a 5k. Not totally pain free, but I would not have made it with out.
First Class Product
by Barb on Apr 11, 2015
I fractured my ankle 12 years ago, fixed with a lot of metal.
It had been constantly painful, sometimes acutely so. I always walked down steps holding a rail with that foot turned out, to ease the pain.
Finally a podiatrist ordered a BioSkin TriLok for me, and since the first moment I put it on, I have had NO pain at all.
I wore it every day for a week or so, sometimes also to bed, but now I wear it only when the ankle is a little sore. It truly is an extremely comfortable, effective support. I am disappointed that the orthopedic specialist did not suggest it years ago, but I will be sending her the link, so hopefully she can review it for herself and help others like me.
I cannot praise highly enough!

Great product! Fast Shipping, very happy with purchase! Will completely recommend!. Perfect for ankle injuries and to prevent additional injury. Even wear it while running!
by Lona Dougan on Jan 21, 2015
I find this very hard to get on. After fighting my way into it I find it comfortable and helpful to wear.

Tricky to put on at first but worth the $. Was able to play sports again many weeks before my ankle would have been ready without the support.
This brace works the best
by CJT on Dec 30, 2014
I own three types of braces and this one works the best and is the most comfortable by far. There are no eyelets for lacing so when wearing shoes there are no lace imprints in the top of my foot.
I give it 4 stars

Has good built in support. Comfortable to wear at work.
The Cure for Flat Feet
by Carl F on Dec 23, 2014
My regular Dr. referred me to a podiatrist due to numbness and discomfort in my left foot. The podiatrist quickly diagnosed that I was walking on the inside of my foot (I believe this is called over-pronated?) due to my flat feet. He prescribed the TriLok and the nurse showed me how to put it on and the correct direction to wrap the white strap.
I wore it continuously for the next month or so (even to bed a few times), and experienced a lot of discomfort as the nerves in my foot seemed to wake back up (tingling and burning was, believe it or not, better than the numbness). After about 4 months, I started wearing the TriLok every other day, and eventually tapered down to about two times a week.
It's now been 9 months and I only wear it very occasionally, when my ankle is feeling uncomfortable. I've pretty much worn out the velcro at this point, so I'm back to buy a second one. I never did return to the podiatrist to be fitted for custom orthotics; I'll just keep using the brace occasionally.
This is a great product and worth every penny, especially when I consider that I must have about 180 days of wear and tear on mine before needing a new one.
Super Sturdy for PTTD
by J. More on Dec 15, 2014
Preliminary review - it took a couple tries to get the hang of how this works and to get it aligned properly for maximum support. I will advise that it runs a bit small if you have chunkier calves than normal. I think I'll be okay with this, as it is giving EXCELLENT support on my interior ankle bone where no other ankle support/contraption has. It's real support.
Air casts don't really do much, there's still a lot of side-to-side movement and whatnot. With this BioSkin, however, wrapping it based on the instructions (there's instructions based on how to use the wraps depending on the type of injury or weakness you're looking to support) feels VERY odd -but I'm so used to walking pronated that this isn't a surprise. Guardedly, I can say I'm walking at 85-90% pain free (on a scale of 1-10, prior to this application, it's been about 8-12 in pain level especially hiking on uneven terrain) on concrete/asphalt, the bioskin dropped it to about a 3 almost immediately. On the uneven terrain, 4-6 because the ankle's still going to roll some and it had only been on for about 20-30 mins.
I'll follow up if there's changes or it falls apart or anything like that but as of now, I'll be wearing it all day, daily for at least a week and see if this tendon can finally get healed up so I can wear this less and less.

I have Ehler's Danlos Syndrome. I have been battling chronic Plantar Fasciitis and Sinus Tarsi Syndrome on the left, and chronic tendonidis on the right for almost 2 years now. I have had numerous steroid injections, night splints, exercises, etc. Because of the Ehler's Danlos, I was already wearing braces on both ankles, but they were thin, and didn't provide much support. About 3 weeks ago, my Podiatrist introduced me to Bio Skin TriLok braces. I can walk almost normal for the first time in years! It is not likely that the pain will ever completely go away, but these have given me the stability that I need, and I so thankful for that! They are easy to put on and comfortable to wear.
Most Stability I've Had...

I should have bought this brace a long time ago. This is the most stability I've had in over a year.

Such a wonderful brace!
by Deborah Gawlik on Dec 3, 2014
After I sprained my ankle, my PT recommended this brace. It is FANTASTIC. Without it I would not have been up walking. It came quicker than expected. It is easy to put on and off and is comfortable to wear all day. The wrap around strap is what really supports the ankle. I highly recommend it!
Best Ankle Brace Ever
by Tammy on Nov 17, 2014
This is the best most comfortable ankle support I have ever had. Worn one out after 3 years of use, as a multiple ankle break and strains this brace keeps my ankle safe and me on my feet. Can be worn very comfortably with tennis shoes, dress shoes and sandals, etc. Wow this is my second and I hope they never discontinue it.
by Gavin neilson on Sep 16, 2014
Whilst playing squash I went over on my already weak ankle, I played again and when all tight on the brace there was no way I was going over my ankle again. One downside with it tight for me was I got cramp in my foot, so I loosened it off and low and behold I went over my ankle again, if worn tight it is fantastic in fact unbeatable.
TriLok Ankle Brace
by L Shanahan on Jun 18, 2014
2 years ago my podiatrist diagnosed a torn tendon in my right foot. A boot was the first plan of attack which merely caused hip problems. Surgery was the second. I said no I would wait until it put m totally out of commission before surgery. I have been wearing the TriLok ankle brace for 2 years and am able to play tennis 3 hours a day without a problem. The ankle is almost as good as new without surgery. I only wear it for preventive measure and only playing tennis. It works for me.
One of the Very Best Products I've ever bought
by Ken on May 30, 2014
My very first product review I've ever bothered writing, because it really is THAT good. It's a little intimidating to figure out at first, and it's a lot of money for 2 strips of velcro and a velcro sleeve. But that's because this is a totally new concept in ankle support. I've had 3 others, and nothing comes close: the most effective, comfortable, and elegant by far. I'm ordering another for my "good" ankle, just because it feels so great to wear.
by JDunn on Apr 8, 2014
Ran for the first time tonight in a long time! 16 months since my last surgery and 28 months since I broke my ankle and leg. Felt pretty dang good. Especially since my knee feels more sore than the ankle...haha. Thanks Cropper Medical for zipping off to me a BioSkin TriLok ankle brace! Made me feel much more confident in getting it done.
GREAT WITH ONE DESIGN SUGESTION

LEFT ANKLE BRACE WORKS GREAT BUT, IF THERE IS SOMEWAY TO REDESIGN THE ELASTIC BAND THAT GOES AROUND THE ARCH OF THE FOOT SO THAT THE SEAM ISN'T ON THE BOTTOM OF THE FOOT WOULD GREATLY IMPROVE COMFORT I HAVE VERY SENSITIVE FEET ANTHE REAR AND BACK SEAM AREA IS LIKE WALKING ON A PEA ALL DAY HOPE TO SEE THE IMPROVEMENT ON FUTURE PRODUCTS

I have broken my ankle 3 times and badly sprained it another dozen times. I am 33 years old and have been living in tight, stiff, ankle pain for 10+ years. I always put the pain to my past, what I didnt realize is my flat feet cause chronic Plantar Fasciitis. I do a lot of half marathons and beat my ankles and feet up. After 3 nights of wearing this to bed I wake up and remain pain free! It has been the most amazing feeling! I am pain free!!!
by Mary Jo Mersereau on Oct 17, 2013
As I stood up after the doctor put this brace on I felt like I was standing straight. For the first time in months I feel like I can walk without pain not only in my foot .....but my back, hips & legs. This is fantastic! Thank you.
by Richard C. McGarry Sr. on Oct 13, 2013
The best ankle brace I've ever used and I have had every type of ankle brace including a caste in my 68yrs and my left ankle ligaments are wasted...also blew out left achilles tendon so probably not candidate for ankle joint replacement. But this could be my savior until BioSkin comes up with a better solution. At least I can golf without high level pain. Thanks
WHAT A DIFFERENCE

I recently acquired a Trilok brace for my flat feet and PTTD in my left ankle. It is amazing what a relief it provides. I feel like I can walk without feeling that I am going to fall . It gives such great support for my ankle, I wish I had started using it years ago. Thank you for this great support. It is easy to apply and gives great support.
Simply the best!
by Tony on Aug 25, 2013
My son last year unfortunately had a high ankle sprain in Football requiring ligament surgery. After months of therapy he is 100% and uses this brace during all his workouts and games. this brace is by far the most comfortable product on the market while offering the "correct" support for his injury. the versatility of this brace is amazing. The flexibility of this brace has not slowed him down one bit and provides him the peace of mind needed to play at peak levels. We carry a stock of these braces at home and rotate for him. He will not consider any other option on the market-this is a one of kind, awesome brace. Fantastic product!

Bioskin Trilok helps my foot and ankle
by Robert Hagen on Aug 15, 2013
My doctor gave me a Bioskin Trilock ankle brace after I complained about sharp pains in my outer ankle and left foot brought on by my flat feet. The brace helped return my foot to the correct position which relieved the pain in my ankle. I definitely recommend this brace.
Helps arthritic ankle
by Lisa Greenberg on Jul 21, 2013
This spring I had a flare up of arthritis in my ankle which was previously broken, it has really helped me to keep me on my feet and after about a month I have been able to go without it depending on what I'm doing. got to keep moving and the tri-lok has really helped to keep me active, without it I would have missed work.
Best so far
by Katie on Apr 28, 2013
I've been using the TriLok for 4 years now. I have tried other lace up braces but none compare. I experience extreme pain from Plantar Fasciitis that affects the arch of my foot. The TriLok provides great arch support. I wear my brace walking, waitressing, running, exercising and dancing. It fits into the majority of my shoes even while wearing thick orthotics. After a year of using the same TriLok brace it became very worn out.. as would any brace. But this is the best I have experienced so far.
Look No More!!
by Judy on Apr 26, 2013
I believe I had the worst case of plantar fasciitis there is. I tired many therapies, including your typical physical therapy, wrapping with tape, generic orthotics, then custom orthotics, then a specialist in orthopedic physical therapy, cortisone shots, exercises, night splint. This went on for a year and a half and I was in horrible pain and walked like a cripple, unable to do anything routine without pain. FINALLY I took the advice of my podiatrist and went with the TriLok brace.. To his credit he did mention it in one of my initial visits, but I opted for the cortisone shot thinking it would be a quick fix.. From the moment I put it on I felt some relief. He said to wear it from sun up to sun down for 2-3 months. It is AWESOME!! It has now been 4 months and though I still wear it for exercise and when I plan to be on my feet a lot, my pain is 90% gone and I am back to my normal routine. Since walking is my only form of exercise, I was gaining weight, cholesterol went up and blood pressure escalated, so I am so happy to be back to "NORMAL." I highly recommend this brace for anyone with plantar fasciitis! Very comfortable and fits nicely into my athletic shoes. It is worth every dime!! And NO I am not being paid by anyone to write this review. It is the honest to God truth!!
Best Comfortable Brace on Market
by John from Tennessee on Nov 8, 2012
My daughter has been using the trilock brace for a couple of seasons now and it has been fantastic. It actually provides two different levels of support depending on whether you use the white "lock down" strap. Unlike all the other braces on the market you don't have to worry about the laces digging in or becoming loose because there are none. However, it provides more support than lace up braces. For the most comfortable with true support give this one a try. It also fits nicely inside of Hyperdunks.
