Cropper Medical, Inc./Bio Skin® designs, manufactures, and markets compression supports, orthopedic braces, and human performance gear to the orthopedic, sports medicine, and recreational sports markets worldwide. Unlike traditional orthopedic braces and supports, which are made of neoprene or knit fabrics, Cropper Medical's products are fabricated from a proprietary, neoprene free material trademarked as Bio Skin®. Bio Skin® provides superior performance characteristics including: compression, strength, stretch, weight, "thinness", memory, durability, breathability, moisture vapor transfer, and comfort over neoprene and elastic knits.
We are committed to designing, developing, manufacturing, and distributing products that improve human function and performance by reducing pain and enhancing function. At Bio Skin® we constantly strive to improve on existing products and introduce new products that will improve lives. We analyze every aspect of our products to make them more comfortable and functional. When we design our braces and supports, we think about how it will interact with the people who wear it. Constant consideration of our end-users has made us focus on details like keeping seams off the back of our knee braces and using elastic straps that allow muscles to expand when flexed.
